The Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara through the Center for ID\/IFR and e-Learning, the Multimedia Center, together with the National Museum of Banat invites you on Tuesday, July 5, at 7:00 p.m.,<\/strong> to to the Opening of the exhibition \"Spotlight Heritage Timi\u0219oara. The Cetate Neighborhood \u2013 A world in the mirror\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2022 we defy the boundaries of time with the help of technology and explore the literature, culture and heritage of Timi\u0219oara through the Cetate Neighborhood - a world in the mirror, through poetry, literature, innovation and the scent of roses!<\/em><\/p>\n

2022: Cetate \u2013 A world in the mirror: brings under the spotlight the literature and poetry that celebrates Timi\u0219oara<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, the exhibition at Theresia Bastion, the street exhibition with the 18<\/span> emblematic locations in the Cetate district, as well as the online, mobile and virtual reality applications will be launched, through which the people of Timisoara and beyond are invited to discover the multiple stories of Timi\u0219oara. The year 2022 puts the spotlight on the literature and poetry that celebrate Timi\u0219oara, doubled by illustrating the allegory of the olfactory sense, by capitalizing on the urban myth of the city of roses<\/b>, which recreates the atmosphere of the Cetate neighborhood from now and before - an atmosphere that is also transposed virtually, with the help of the latest technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hosts of the opening are the teams of the Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara and the National Museum of Banat.<\/p>\n

Spotlight Heritage Timi\u0219oara \/ Patrimoniul sub Reflectoare Timi\u0219oara invites the people of Timi\u0219oara and beyond to a foray into the world of Timi\u0219oara of the past, combining the multiple stories of the city - the stories of cultural and historical heritage, of technical development<\/span> of communities, ethnicities and inhabitants - with the technologies of state-of-the-art to deliver a complex experience, inspired by history and enhanced with the help of the digital world.<\/p>\n

The selection of literary texts collected by prof. univ. dr. Smaranda Vultur and assistant univ. dr. Roxana Rogobete, the memories from the oral history of Timisoara capitalized by the Group of Oral History and Cultural Anthropology are combined with the original poems, created for Spotlight Heritage Timisoara, by the well-known Timisoara poet Robert \u0218erban.<\/p>\n

The historical and literary exploration of the Cetate neighborhood is doubled by illustrating the allegory of the olfactory sense by capitalizing on the urban myth about Timi\u0219oara as the city of roses, created in the second half of the 19th century by the gardners dynasty activity. The vintage images reproduce the activity of the M\u00fchle family, one sequence in the exhibition being dedicated to flowers and another to scientific experiments, in a modern transposition and Timi\u0219oara traditions.<\/p>\n
