Between November 9-10, 2022, the \u201cConference on Heritage Innovation Technology \/ Conferin\u021ba privind Tehnologia Inova\u021biei Patrimoniului\"<\/strong>, organized by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration<\/a>, within the activities carried out by the Interreg Danube Transnational Program<\/a>, within the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region<\/a>, priority area 3 - Culture, Tourism and Contacts between people.<\/div>\n
The conference was held #hybrid and aimed to discuss issues of common interest in the field of culture and cultural heritage, to share and disseminate innovative approaches and best practices for the development of public policies.<\/div>\n
Diana Andone, director of CeL<\/a>participated in this conference as a speaker, where she presented the Spotlight Heritage Timi\u0219oara project as an example of good practice, through which she wanted to convey the message that innovation and digitization are #key tools for promoting cultural heritage and a way to make it accessible in an open informational space.<\/div>\n
The initiator of Spotlight Heritage Timi\u0219oara presented the idea of implementing this project and the stages of development, talking about how the status of European Capital of Culture of the city of Timi\u0219oara 2023\u00a0<\/a> played an essential role in promoting the innovative use and management of cultural and\/or digital heritage.<\/div>\n

Through this conference, it was very important to capitalize on the fact that innovation and digitization can also increase the valorization of less visible cultural heritage, including through sustainable tourism approaches.<\/p>\n
