Politehnica University Timisoara, through the Department of ID\/IFR and Digital Education and the Multimedia Centre, together with the Alliance of European Universities E\u00b3UDRES\u00b2, the National Museum of Banat and IEEE Romania, organizes on Friday, 8 December 2023, from 10:00 to 14:00, the eighth edition of the Digital Skills and Competences \/ Competen\u021be \u0219i abilit\u0103\u021bi digitali workshop, on the theme Digital Skills for Culture & Creative Industries \/Digital Skills for Culture & Creative Industries Workshop, integrated in Spotlight Heritage Timisoara. In this edition, national and international experts (from USA, England, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Greece, Italy, Spain and Romania), student entrepreneurs and experts from companies will present and debate on Digital Culture, Digital Heritage, Digital Entrepreneurship, Augmented\/Virtual\/Extended Reality, Experimental Media, Blockchain, demonstrating through practical examples the impact that digital skills can have in culture, creative industries, education and how they can stimulate innovation.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place physically in Timisoara, in Amphitheatre K1, UPT Conference Centre, B-dul Vasile P\u00e2rvan, Nr. 2 B, but also online and is addressed to actors in the field of culture, education, innovation and creative industries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentations will take place in Romanian and English<\/strong>and participants will receive Digital Skills Workshop Participant Open Badges<\/strong> (Open Digital Certificates) online and in addition, Certificates of Attendance for physical participants in the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spotlight Heritage Timi\u0219oara \/ Patrimoniul sub reflectoare is a digital cultural initiative of the Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara realized in partnership with the National Museum of Banat, part of the Cultural Programme Timi\u0219oara 2023 European Capital of Culture. Cultural project co-financed by the Center for Projects of the Municipality of Timi\u0219oara, Timi\u0219 County Council, Ministry of Culture, Romania, EEA and Norway Grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
