Participants will have the opportunity to experience spectacular physics demonstrations and chemistry experiments that will stimulate all 5 senses, as well as discover Timisoara's technical firsts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The focus of the event will be interactive installations made possible by virtual and mixed reality glasses, a concept developed by the Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Visitors will be able to experience a \"short virtual journey\" through the history of the city's old neighbourhoods, using augmented and virtual reality technologies, and hear stories of the city's multicultural and multi-ethnic diversity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will also be able to enjoy unique interactions with 3D scanned heritage objects integrated into mixed reality applications, giving them the opportunity to complete the interactive game Spotlight Heritage has prepared for the curious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Items included in the XR Show include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\"Heritage in the spotlight Timisoara - Digital &amp; Virtual\"<\/strong>, a collection that includes an online website and several mobile apps, including augmented and virtual reality applications that provide an interactive perspective on the city's history and heritage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201e<strong>SH Culture App\"<\/strong>, an augmented reality app for heritage and panoramic views of Timi\u0219oara, where the audience is taken through the history of 5 emblematic neighbourhoods, revealed through <strong>3D videos and 3D scans<\/strong> of the museum's heritage, being able to visit the buildings in 360 degrees with VR glasses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various cultural performances such as digital installation<strong> \"Ecourile Bega\"<\/strong>by Norwegian artist Ingrid Bj\u00f8rnaali and Romanian artist Marius Jurca, which explores the cultural history of the Bega Canal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\"Patterns of poetry\"<\/strong>another digital installation by artist Marius Jurca (13m10j), based on custom software, through which you can \"paint\" the city of Timi\u0219oara with colour and the lyrics of Robert \u0218erban's poems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\"Physic AI Garden\"<\/strong> created by Anna Dumitru and Alex May, in collaboration with the CAPABLE Project, offering a novel perspective on the interaction between physics and artificial intelligence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\"History of UPT and MECIPT in VR\",<\/strong> a virtual presentation of the history of Politehnica University of Timisoara and the first electronic university computer in Romania.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With this remarkable exhibition, the event <em>XR Show Heritage in the spotlight Timisoara<\/em> offers participants not only an insight into cutting-edge technologies, but also an exciting journey through the city's history, culture and diversity. It is a unique opportunity to discover the potential of technological innovation to bring to life and highlight Timisoara's rich cultural and historical values in a spectacular and interactive way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotlight Heritage Timi\u0219oara \/ Patrimoniul sub reflectoare is a digital cultural initiative of the Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara realized in partnership with the National Museum of Banat, part of the Cultural Programme Timi\u0219oara 2023 European Capital of Culture. Cultural project co-financed by the Center for Projects of the Municipality of Timi\u0219oara, Timi\u0219 County Council, Ministry of Culture, Romania, EEA and Norway Grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
