What can you explore in the UPT Technical Museum?

• Stories of people and 5 historic districts from Timișoara;
• Interactive edutainment, mobile and mixed reality applications;
• Latest applications Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (AR/MR) Spotlight Heritage Timisoara);
• Heritage in the spotlight - 👉🏻 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐳𝐢𝐞𝐢: discover Timișoara through poetry and colour (artist: Marius Jurca, 13m10j);
• 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐈 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧: a dynamic virtual garden with virtual plants and mushrooms (artists: Anna Dumitriu & Alex May, in collaboration with CAPABLE Project and BioArt Revolution);
• History of information technologies: visit MECIPT-1, , the first university computer in Romania, but also all the other technological devices to see with their own eyes the technological evolution of our era;
• History of computers through Plan Zero - Retro IT - Computer Museum, invited with old computers, both Romanian from the CIP/HC range, a number of laptops from the 80s and 90s, most of them functional
• The ExperimentariumTM - the center for interactive presentation of physical phenomena - to discover physical phenomena, experiments that allow participants to become active explorers, increasing their confidence in their own ability to understand how the universe works.
• International scientific applications, presented by UPT partners from the European University Alliance E3UDRES2 and partners E3UDRES2 Ent-r-e-novators

An evening full of exciting scientific, technical, digital interactions awaits you, where you can discover physical experiments, the history of information technology, from the first computers and devices to the latest technological generations, combining the past with the present in unexpected ways, having the opportunity to interact with a complex real-virtual world, using cutting-edge digital technologies!
