Cetate neighbourhood, in the spotlight! Theatre show, using digital technology and augmented reality elements, in collaboration with Thespis Theatre
Two distinct but completely opposite worlds come together through a student with a passion for vintage and a passion for technology. An urban foray to rediscover Timisoara's heritage." What was", " What is" and "What will be" are intertwined through technological vision and artistic creativity, in an Experimentarium of imagination, meant to open new perspectives in the collective mind.
We are waiting for you on 4 and 5 October 2022, from 19:00, at the UPT Technical Museum and Experimentarium TM, to defy the boundaries of time and explore Timisoara's culture and heritage through a theatre performance, using state-of-the-art technology. Participation is free!

This show is part of the series of events dedicated to the cultural program Timișoara European Cultural Capital 2023, held within the framework of Spotlight Heritage Timișoara team, a cultural project co-financed by the Municipality of Timișoara, through the Project Centre, , Timiș County Council. by the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, in collaboration with the National Museum of Banat.
The direction of the show is inspired by the exhibition Spotlight Heritage Timisoara. Cetate neighborhood - A world in the mirrororganized this year by the National Museum of Banat and the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, which is based on the selection of literary texts collected by Prof. Smaranda Vultur and Roxana Rogobete, as well as the memories collected from the oral history of Timișoara, valorized by the Oral History and Cultural Anthropology Group, which are combined with the original poems created for Heritage under Reflectors Timișoara, by the well-known Timisoara poet Robert Șerban.
Through this show, the hosts of the event want to bring under the spotlight - the possibilities that the digital world offers us, allowing us to "defy" the boundaries of time and explore the culture and heritage of our city, through means that captivate our senses, in a modern transposition of Timisoara traditions.
