Culture Fun Space was one of the events organized within the International Festival of Culture and Digital Heritage, as part of the national cultural program "Timisoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023". This event gave citizens and tourists the opportunity to turn their addiction to technology into an addiction to culture.

Combining technology and fun into a unique experience with spectacular virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) applications, participants were transported into a virtual world full of adventure and innovation.

One of the projects that attracted the most participation from the public was the interactive installation entitled "Patterns of Poetry" by artist Marius Jurca (13m10j). This installation offered a unique experience through the use of custom software, which allowed the discovery of Timisoara through colour and poetry. The poems were written by Robert Șerban and were entitled "Poems about Miss Timișoara", as part of the project "Spotlight Heritage Timisoara". Through the installation, participants were able to explore 14 different locations in Timișoara, each associated with a distinct poem and colour palette. This interactive approach allowed people to discover and experience the city in a unique, artistic way.

The poems described and presented heritage buildings, squares and historical monuments that have helped to define the architectural and cultural profile of the city. Through words and images, participants were invited to travel through time and space, exploring the history and symbols that have shaped Timișoara.

Culture Fun Space brought a new level of interaction and discovery of culture through technology and art. The event opened the doors to a fascinating digital world, where participants had the opportunity to enjoy immersive visual and auditory experiences. Interactive installations and VR and AR apps transformed the way people connect with culture and heritage.
