Today, 12 December, the official opening of the exhibition "๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญฬฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญฬฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌฬฆ๐จ๐๐ซ๐: ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ฬ๐ญ๐ซ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญฬฆ๐ข๐", organized and displayed in the central hall of the Polytechnic University Library Timiศoara (2 Vasile Pรขrvan Boulevard, Timiศoara).
Our project is also part of the exhibition, showcasing memoirs, memories and fragments from the early history of the 1956 student uprisings, where groups of students gathered in the Polytechnics Canteen to demonstrate their desire for freedom from the oppressive Soviet occupation at the time.
This revolt culminated on October 30, 1956, when a group of students of the Polytechnic Institute ๐ presented a memorandum with demands addressed to the communist authorities, thus starting a long, arduous road, but with a clear destination 33 years later, when the 1989 Revolution broke out in Timiศoara. 1989 revolution.
Now, in 2024, we mark 35 years of freedom from the moments and horrors of that December. That's why we invite you to discover the exhibition and the rest of the events around the city in the days to come.
