The theme of 2020 is Tactile and brings under the spotlight the stories and atmosphere of the Elisabetin neighbourhood, which will be rendered from the perspective of Netti Dr. Diel, whose memories extracted from fragments of the manuscript "Family Diary" of Prof. Dr. Pia Brînzeu will contribute to illustrating the atmosphere of daily life in the neighbourhood of yesteryear.

The hosts of the opening will be Dr. Ing Diana Andone and Conf. dr. eng. Florin Dragan - Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Claudiu Ilaș - National Museum of Banat and Simona Neumann - Timisoara 2023 Association - European Capital of Culture.

The event will launch exhibition at the Theresia Bastion, street exhibition with those 16 iconic locations in the Elisabetin district, but also online, mobile and virtual reality applications, through which Timisoara's citizens and not only are invited to discover the many stories of Timisoara through the prism of Netti Diel's world - a world in which history is transposed virtually with the help of state-of-the-art technologies.
