Spotlight Heritage Timisoara Project sputs the multiple stories of Timisoara through digital technologies, stories of cultural and historical heritage, technical development, communities and neighbourhoods, interwoven with the personal stories of past and present residents, through digital overlaying of intangible heritage from books, memories, oral histories and art, as five women guide our project each year.
The "Happenings" section represents the digital and physical itineraries of the Iosefin (2019), Elisabetin (2020), Fabric (2021) and Cetate (2022) neighbourhoods and reveals their stories through several layers: theatre and street dance, events, performances and digital installations, scenography (props, virtual effects, audio-video, olfactory stimulation with chemical demonstrations)which are carried out periodically with the active involvement of students and citizens.
These events represent the implementation team's desire to innovate the way a city's history and built heritage are presented to the general public, in an attractive, artistic, dynamic manner, so as to facilitate cultural awareness and education, especially of younger generations, and to value multiculturalism, the diversity of ethnicity, architectural styles and historical paths by offering stories that deserve to be perpetuated and valued.

Do you love music, dance, theatre, but equally mobile, VR and technology? Then ask for the Timisoara Heritage Spotlight Passport and come to the project events!
How to use the SHT Passport: participate in each of the 12 major activities in 2023 and you will get a SHTM23 cultural footprint. The more activities you participate in, the more stamps you get.
For those who at the end of 2023 can present the passport containing (almost) all the stamps associated with the project, we prepare rewards and surprise gifts.
